What Should I Do If My Crown Comes Off?
DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE!!!! Retail stores like Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart carry temporary dental cement and provide instructions on use. This is a great option if your crown, bridge, or temporary crown comes off and you aren’t able to see your dentist for a few days. If a crown comes off and it is not sensitive to hot or cold, it is ok to leave the crown out if you are able to see your dentist that week to evaluate whether it can be re-cemented, or if a new crown is necessary. Be sure to keep the crown in a ziplock bag and store it away safely.
